Advantages of a new build property in France as an investment

When it comes to a good investment, most people would think it is a property that has a good chance of going up in value in the fairly short term and at the very least will not reduce in value.

Unfortunately there is no way of knowing for sure, with the best will in the world, what the future will bring. That said, there are of course safer and more risky bets.

When it comes to new build property in France, there is a good chance that it will be a good investment. It is highly likely that over time it will go up in value, as long as you can ride out any temporary blips that there may be along the way.

And if you want to rent it out, either short or long term, then generally speaking new builds are easier to rent out than older properties.

Then when it comes to resale, you have the advantage that the developers have already put the effort into building the property or properties in a good area where there is going to be good demand for properties, else they wouldn't have built there.

And unless something fairly drastic happens, that demand is still going to be there when it comes to you selling your property too. And best of all, there is a wider market open to you: you don't have to sell to an overseas buyer although of course you can if you want, because many French people domestically will prefer to buy a property that is almost new rather than an old one, so there are likely to be various potential sales routes for you.
