Prudential

Prudential is one of the most well known financial services companies in the country, and therefore it seems odd that it does not actually offer mortgage products, but at time of writing that is indeed the situation.

However, Prudential are listed as a mortgage lender because they do have existing customers on a range of products such as a lifetime mortgage and therefore are indeed a mortgage lender to those customers.

It was founded back in 1848 and has, according to wikipedia, over 21 million customers worldwide.

Prudential is also known for starting Egg the internet bank, which was sold to Citigroup in 2007.

There is information available on their website for existing customers for products such as the prudential lifetime mortgage, which is no longer available to new customers.
