Property Prices
In recent times, the housing market has taken a bit of a tumble, with property prices falling away quite considerably in some areas whilst in others tending to be, at best, flat. Of course, many had predicted the hefty increases year on year at the start of the decade were unsustainable, and with the credit crunch and generally poor market conditions, this has proved to be correct.However, some recent data is suggesting that prices are now stabilising, and indeed in some areas are starting to rise again. So it might be a good time to get a new property before prices go up too much, although as ever no-one really knows what is going to happen to prices in the future and how sensitive the market will be to another unexpected shot or particulary dire data.
