Finding out about building regulations

There are various people who might need to find out about building regulations, and not just of course those that are building!

If there is a development coming up near you and particularly within earshot or eyeshot of where you currently live then you will want to read up on what to expect and what the builders should or should not be doing.

Of course also if you are thinking of buying a plot on land that is currently being developed but not finished then you might also want to read up about building regulations.

For anyone who is into property and is interested in building regulations for whatever reason, then you can find out more information about it on the government websites.

Go to www.communities.gov.uk/planningandbuilding and then click through to the building regulations section for the latest regulations (they are being updated all the time). You could also get in touch with your local building control department.
