Prospects for the commercial property sector...

The commercial property sector in the UK has been quite badly hit in recent years.

There are some tentative signs that things might be starting to improve, but will that prove to be the case and be borne out by experience?

Would be interesting to hear your thoughts on what the next few years hold for the commercial property sector.

I read an article in the newspaper today that looked back on 2009 data and suggested that people actually started returning to commericial property more than had been anticipated.

It said that in London particularly things were looking up, which is interesting as most people in the sector at the time when you asked them said that it was quite flat and certainly jobs and recruitment were pretty hard to come by in the sector.

It will be interesting to see if this stays, though with the prospects of banks being broken up and bans on certain activities this could cast doubts on this sector for a while yet.
